Karel ROYNETTE
Karel Roynette is an attorney-at-law with the Paris and New York Bars and a co-founding partner of LEXASSURE.
He focuses on litigation in commercial general liability and product liability, construction law, as well as applicable insurance, in French and American law, after having practiced for two years in a firm in the United States and fifteen years in Paris in leading firms in the sector and on an individual basis.
In particular, he handles disputes relating to contractual remedies and liability, tort liability, product liability, construction law and personal injury in front of domestic courts (civil, criminal and administrative) and in arbitration for French and foreign business clients and insurers in the sector of industry, construction, automotive, transport, agri-food, retail…
He has also developed a monitoring practice, with his correspondent lawyers or those mandated by the client, of French clients’ proceedings abroad.
Karel also carries out insurance advice and due diligence on international programs, and property damage, liability, D&O, construction all risks and decennial liability insurance policies.
He also advises on business law, commercial contracts, joint-ventures, consortiums, subcontracting, non-disclosure agreements, commercial leases, general terms and conditions of sale, domestic or international sales, service contracts, contractual warranty and liability clauses, applicable law agreements, choice of court and arbitration clauses.
He also has a practice in corporate law (drafting of articles of association / bylaws, corporate governance, and share sale and purchase agreements and compagnies takeovers).
He holds a Master 2 in Business Law and the French bar (2007), as well as an LLM from Louisiana State University and the New York Bar (2010).
He is also a member of the Association for Corporate Risk and Insurance Management (AMRAE), the International Association of Lawyers (UIA), the International Insurance Law Association (AIDA), the Pan European Organisation of Personal Injury Lawyers (PEOPIL), and the American Bar Association – International Law Section (ABA ILS).

Willy RANDRIANASOLO
Willy RANDRIANASOLO, lawyer at the Paris Bar and co-founding partner of LEXASSURE, advises the firm’s clients (companies, brokers, insurers) in civil liability law, insurance law and construction law.
For companies, he analyzes the drafting of contracts concluded with manufacturers, suppliers, sellers, builders and their subcontractors, paying particular attention to risk transfer, liability, warranty and insurance clauses, to comply with legal requirements and control risks in the event of a claim.
He is also commissioned by insurers and wholesale brokers to audit their pre-contractual and contractual documents (insurance proposal, insurance policy and insurance certificate) to comply with regulations, case law and the recommendations of the ACPR and the Insurance Ombudsman.
In addition, he defends his clients, both amicably and in litigation, on civil liability actions, actions for the application of insurance policies or contract bonds, as well as on the implementation of subrogatory or recourse actions.
To do this, he represents his clients in survey meetings to look for the technical causes of the loss, determine liability and assess damages, in negotiation meetings to find an adequate settlement solution and before the courts.
With experience in assessing the legal and financial risks incurred after the occurrence of claims, he helps his clients to set up provisions in their files and to resolve their disputes amicably.
He holds a Master 2 in Insurance and Civil Liability Law, a Master 2 in Customs, Transport and Logistics Law as well as the French bar.
Willy, who was a lecturer in contract law at the University of Paris XII (Paris-Est Créteil), regularly publishes articles in specialized journals (Opérations immobilières, La Tribune de l’assurance and L’Argus de l’assurance) and is a member of professional associations (AMRAE and AIDA).
